AATMA was born in India ~ without a plan, just a feeling.
While walking around the sacred lake in Pushkar, we kept thinking about how rich and alive India’s textile traditions are.
We wanted to bring a piece of that world with us — but in a way that felt more personal, closer to our own style and aesthetic.

We joined a block printing workshop and fell in love with the rhythm of the craft ~ the sound of wood meeting fabric, the patience in every print, the slow, mindful repetition.
Each fabric carries the touch of real hands, the wisdom of tradition, and the vibrant energy of natural pigments.

Aatma Studio was born with a vision: to share India’s textile story with the world in a way that blends seamlessly with modern aesthetics.

Shakti collection was the beginning ~ a block print collection, the spark that made us fall in love with Indian craftsmanship and start this journey.
A collection fully handmade in India, using only natural pigments and the lightest cotton.

Each piece is named after an Indian goddess ~ a reminder of feminine energy, strength, and intuition.

Over time, we fell in love with natural dyeing — experimenting with flowers, leaves, and plants to create colors that shift, breathe, and are completely unique.
Today, AATMA is also a creative aterlier, where we share our knowledge of natural pigments, dyes, and mindful creation.
Every garment, every workshop, is an invitation to slow down, connect with the earth, and create something soulful.
